Company History

Andy Beswick began working at OMC Ford Bodyshop as a panel beater when he was 16. Over the years he picked up a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of the motor industry, at Quicks, The Lancaster Group and Bramall Ford.

In 2000, Andy entered into a joint venture with OMC Ford, believing that there was a gap in the accident repair market for a truly professional and customer focused service, and has been the driving force behind the business’ growth to become one of the largest bodyshop groups in the UK.

It began with the purchase of the Halifax Accident Repair Centre, and it was the beginning of a major investment programme in new bodyshop equipment, ongoing staff training and a dedication to providing the highest standards of customer care.

Within a few years, the hard work began to pay off and company began to expand with new bodyshops opening in Rochdale and Castleford. In 2006, Northern Accident Repair Centres purchased A&B Motors, a large car body repair centre in Manchester, to enable the company to operate a service along the entire M62 corridor.
